A relaxed walk through one of the oldestsuburbs of Bangalore, soaking in anecdotes and stories from legend and folklore, shared along the way. You start with local in a local institution, and during this tour you understand the beginnings of Bangalore’s suburban culture, and also get to visit old temples built more than 700 years ago. You also pass by a cow shed and understand what cows are doing in the city. And a market that once catered to temple goers, but now is the hub for shopping for vegetables, condiments, fruit, flowers, spices and a whole array of consumables. Indian breakfast at a legendary local cafe
Visit an urban cow shed where a milk man has his cows so that he can supply milk every day to his customers in the neighbourhood
Visit approx 3 Temples and walk past others (includes the Bhoganandeeshwara temple that is built around an overground stream, the old shiva temple built while Bangalore was a forest, and the Krishna temple that was built by the king of Mysore state)
Walk past the flower and vegetable market that lines the main street
Visit the washerman's village and take colourful pictures of handwashed and air dryed linen
